In addition, it is also paradise for the bird watchers. More than 100 different species (2% of the world’s total) of birds are found in Langtang conservation area. The valley offers pine forest, moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild stings. In the upper part of valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lakes with icebergs floating on them and water of crystalline brightness. There are also high mountains of solid ice.

This trekking traverses a verity of terrain from lowland villages to the Glacier and offer beautiful high mountain views. This trekking also offers a fine opportunity to surround oneself with Himalayan Peaks, without having to contend with the altitude and flight problems.
ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK 20 DAY
This is one of the classic and most rewarding treks in Nepal. The Southern slopes of Manaslu and, Annapurna ranges are heavily settled and farmed, except the higher regions which support thick forests of Rhododendron and fir, the tribes inhabiting this area are Gurungs, Magars, Chehettris and Newars.
As we turn westwards into the Manang Valley and into the rain shadow of the Annapurna Ranges dramatic changes occur. Though, there are small fields supporting some crops of millet and wheat, and small flocks of sheep and goats, the Manang tribes are traditionally a trading race, they are also Tibetan by origin and Buddhist by religion, and their architecture and lifestyle is quite different to those ribs on the southern slopes.
Thakali and Mustang tribes control the busy trading and pilgrimage trail along the Kali Gandaki, until move through the gap between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna into the wetter zones, where one can meet Gurungs and Magars again.
On the whole trek there is not one day during which we do not have magnificent views of all the ranges.

Everest and every one may have such desire that have heard or read about this highest mountain in the world. It takes three weeks time to start the trekking from Jiri and fly back from Lukla. Walking to and from Everest Base Camp takes at least one month to complete the trekking. Many trekkers find the walk to Everest better than the destination itself. The Everest trekking areas offer a visit to the homeland of the Sherpas, a chance to get close to the highest mountain in the world, as well as the feeling in one that of surrounded by peaks. This trek starts as following:
SPECIFIC REGION
TREKKING TO UPPER MUSTANG "LO MANTHANG" 21 DAYS
MUSTANG 13 DAYS TREKKING
This is the most popular and fascinate trekking in Nepal. The H.M.G of Nepal opened the door to this area for Trekkers in October 1991 under strict control in obtaining a special permit for this region. The strictness is enforced to protect the tradition as well as the environment of this region.
The Government of Nepal has fixed certain number of trekkers as quota every year on this trekking route depending upon the season. The Government also has fixed special rules and regulations to obtain the permit for this region. This trek must be done as an organized one, not the tea house and one liaison officer from H.M.G. must be needed per group as the individual trekker can't obtain the special permit for this region.
The people of this region is fully influenced by Tibetan culture and the trek to Lo Manthang have a different attraction. This route is an almost treeless barren Landscape, steep rocky trail up and down the hill and eye-catching panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and many other beautiful peaks make this trekking a memory for the life time. This trekking could be done as follows:
DHAULAGIRI 16 DAYS TREKKING
14 DAYS MAKALU BARUN
ROUND MANASLU 19 DAYS
21 DAYS TREKKING AROUND MANASLU
This route of trekking was forbidden to the tourists upto 1991, later on when the Japanese Expedition team ascend the Manaslu Peak (8157 m.), it became known as "Japanese Mountain" after the Japanese Expedition Team made first ascent. This trek can begin from Gorkha, Trishuli Bazar or Dhading.
A Liaison Officer from the Government is needed to trek in this region.
The route - The trail is rough & steep and often hangs on a bluff high above the river. Though the Larkya La is not a difficult Pass, the trek is harder then most in Nepal. The trek is remote and no rescue facilities or opportunities to bail out if tired.
This trek is culturally, geographically spectacular and fascinating to all the trekkers. The Tibetans of the upper Budhi Gandaki, the region known as Nupri (the western mountains), are direct descendants of Tibetan immigrants. Their speech; dress and customs are exclusively Tibetan. There is still continuous the trade between Nupri and Tibet. The mountain views at Nupri are sensational, and the Larkya La is one to the most dramatic Himalayan Pass. This trek is in a region of strong Tibetan influence, most places have Tibetan names instead of Nepalese. The tiny village Deng comes after crossing a bamboo forest and Deng Khola (river).
MAKALU - ARUN VALLEY TREK (19 DAYS)
Makalu ( 8,481 m.), the fifth highest mountain of the world lying on the Nepal- Tibet border has the virtue of observing the Nepal’s most major peaks to the east of the Everest. The trek starts right from the Arun Valley. This region, considered as one of the non-tourist areas has a wonderful charm to explore and always done with a well-supervised and guided group with sensible equipment.
25 DAYS KANCHANJUNGHA TREK
Massive Kanchanjungha (8598m) lies on the border of Nepal and Sikkim. It is a rich area or Nepal for Musk Deer, blue sheep and possibly YETI, the abominable snow man. It also offers excellent photographic views of Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjugha itself. It is inhabited by few scattered population and is a real wilderness terrain of Nepal.
22 DAYS TREKKING TO KANCHANJUNGA
The Kanchanjunga region was forbidden to the trekkers before; the door to this region was opened in 1988. This mountain is situated on the border of Nepal and Sikkim, the state of India. So politically it is not possible to take a circuit of this mountain. It is suggested to visit the north and south side of the mountain from Nepal side, but should be equipped for a high crossing and requires enough time, i.e. 3 to 4 weeks.
A special Trekking permit is needed to trek in this region at the payment of US$ 10 per person per week.
GANESH HIMAL 19 DAYS TREKKING
Between Kathmandu and Pokhara there are three major groups of peaks, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and Himal chuli and large Annapurna Himal. This trek is recommended by many trekkers though it is not as popular as Annapurna and Everest. It is famous for Tamang culture, spectacular views of mountains, rhododendron forest and it is a convenient distance from Kathmandu.
23 DAYS DOLPO TREK
Dolpo is located inside the Shey-Phoksundo National Park of mid-western Nepal, behind the Dhaulagiri massif towards the Tibetan Plateau. Cut off by a series of very high passes, closed by snow most of the year. Dolpo remains a truly isolated corner of Nepal. Time has stood still here for centuries as the inhabitants of Tibetan stock continue to live, cultivate and commerce the way they have done since tome immemorial. The finally preserved eco-system encompasses a wildlife, including the blue sheep and leopard. A trek through Dolpo is an experience not easily forgotten.
